Mar Mikhael's specialty coffee scene gets a digital home. Lavender palette, elegant soft tones, and scroll-driven storytelling that walks visitors through the sourcing and brewing process.

Daraj is a specialty coffee shop in Mar Mikhael, Beirut's creative heartland. Their approach to coffee is methodical and educational — they wanted a site that taught visitors before it sold to them.
The lavender palette (#D3B3FF and #9C5BFF) on a light background was unusual for a coffee brand but perfect for Daraj's audience: design-literate, curious, and style-conscious. We used GSAP ScrollTrigger to build a scroll-driven journey through their sourcing story — Ethiopia, Colombia, Yemen — with each origin pinned and narrated as you scroll.
The menu section uses a horizontal scroll pattern for the coffee cards, each with origin details, roast profile, and tasting notes. The site loads in under 2 seconds and scores 95+ on PageSpeed.
